Work Holiday Programme
I finally got my visa, the so-called Work Holiday Programme. I'll write more about the problems I encountered until I finally got the visa (yesterday....), but as of now, I'd like to present the small package that was given to me as a welcome gift in a few pictures (following the Wooden table principle, in my case however with the floor...)
The package that was given to me:
Opened it, free gifts & brochures!
Top: Map of Singapore, Tourist Guide (with all the tourist attractions plus other tourist info), a brochure that praises the business opportunities in Singapore, and lastly, the WHP brochure.
Middle: A welcome letter
Bottom: A handphone strap and an ez-link card (see further below).
The welcome letter in detail:
And lastly, the ez-link card (with 5$ value on it!) compared to my current card (on the left):
I'll also write a bit more about the information in the brochures soon.

Is the girl in the blue blouse included in the package?

Sadly, no. Now that would be the most attractive incentive ever to attract Global Talent like us ;)
Although, they might get just 1 girl and.....I won't say anything else now...

Hmmm, what I just realised:
The girl on the cover of the Singapore Guide is 'catching' whatever is coming out of the Merlion's mouth. Now we all know that the Merlion had a few drinks too much (who wouldn't start drinking if your dad is a lion and your mom a fish!), and now his stomach contents need to get out...
