As a Christmas special, Tiger Airways offered flights for 0$. Of course I couldn't resist, was waiting for a good deal and this is an amazing one. Drawback was that you had to travel in a very limited period (most of the flights were only for January), so I booked only one flight. Of course I had to pay airport taxes, therefore it costs me around 255S$ both ways.

Going to Guangzhou in China, will be my first time ever in China. Will go there from 19.-22. January, so pretty soon. Also booked my hotel, couldn't find any hostel. But the one I booked claims to have only suites, for the price of normal hotel rooms!

Friday evening, I booked my first holiday for 2008. Hannah asked me that week if I wanted to go with her to Hong Kong. Although I initially planned to go somewhere else in China (destinations limited by the budget flights) I said yes.
So we booked our flights for the 6th February to HK and for the 11th back to Singapore. Yes, this means that during Chinese New Year I will not be in Singapore, but in Hong Kong.
To save some money (and because hotels cost quite a bit, we didn't want to spend like 300S$ per person) we'll be staying in a small hostel in a two-beds room (according to the pictures it must be around 6sqm ). Will be quite a busy month for Hannah, as her boyfriend is coming here end of January for 2 weeks. I myself planned to go to Taiwan in May, but due to an server error (thanks, Jetstar....) I couldn't book the cheap 88S$ flights this weekend. Prices for the flights are now about double, so I'll wait for the next cheap & good offers from Tiger or Jetstar (fav destinations are China & Taiwan).
